What A Year!

Oh my goodness what a year that has been. Back in March 2020 following the lockdown, I took Satyam classes online – it was quite the learning curve, having never used Zoom or anything similar in the past. But…. we did it, for the past 12 months the students have been diligently attending lessons online from the comfort of their own living rooms, bedrooms, conservatories and sometimes dining rooms.

Unfortunately the Grade exams were cancelled in April 2020 and we decided we did not want to do them online – so each student was moved up to the next grade, and instead of concentrating on exams we concentrated on learning to dance together and enjoy dance together. In March 2021 we entered the ISTD Challenge, and just look at what Grades 1 to 3 achieved in the attached video.

The primary class have been busy too, after Christmas we have been concentrating on expressions and telling the stories of Krishna in his childhood. All good things come to an end, though this end is a new beginning, from 12th April I look forward to inviting the girls back to face to face classes in our very own custom build studio – so exciting times ahead as we also prepare for ISTD Challenge number two dancing outdoors….
