Finding A Hall To Hire In MK
Milton Keynes K has an abundance of really well looked after and well placed, community centres, pavilions and sports facilities, not to mention a few dance halls, and I am glad to say they are most certainly being well utilised by the people of MK.
This week I have found myself without a hall to teach in having been unfortunately double booked at Brooklands, and with growing numbers exacerbating the issue by needing a hall more than one evening in the week and for longer each evening.
I can not complain I am so excited about the new students I am going to have the opportunity of teaching from the youngest at just 4 years old to a number of keen adults, and everyone in between, and now that some of my girls (would be nice to have a boy to teach but alas not yet) have had a year of dance behind them I am looking forward to some of them sitting exams this year.
But where to teach….seems I am competing for space with everyone, from Pilates and Yoga instructors, to Rainbows and Brownies, and even the occasional Cheerleaders. Silver lining however fortunately a few local pavilions and community centres seem like they will come to the rescue – and the class and show will go on.
In the meantime – enjoy some of the girls performing at this years International Festival in the Democratic Set, Back to Back Theatre at CMK – they filmed on 23rd July 2018 – which for me was an additional Birthday present. Well done to Ananya, Shveta and Ishani. Oh and spot the brothers in the MK Air cricket team.
